Water Treatment

Water Treatment

Water is an essential resource for Life, Health & Development. OMKEM ensures its Quality by introducing the best Treatment Solutions. OMKEM manufactures a wide range of Specialty Water Treatment Chemicals for RO Water Treatment, Raw Water Treatment, Boiler, Cooling & Chilled Water Treatment, Sewage and Waste Water Treatment plants.

Our Solutions

  • Defoamer (Silicone-based)

It controls foam in wastewater treatment plants, preventing overflow and ensuring optimal treatment processes. Minimize odour issues associated with foam build-up.

  • Calcium Chloride

Calcium chloride is an effective solution for wastewater treatment since it allows for the easy removal of oil droplets and other contaminants. It reacts with fluorides, silicates, phosphates, sulfates, and/or heavy metals in the wastewater forming highly insoluble salts that precipitate and settle.

  • Gluconic Acid 50%

Gluconic Acid 50% is a biodegradable organic acid with strong chelating properties, effectively sequestering metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, and iron. This makes it ideal for water treatment, preventing scale formation and enhancing the efficiency of cleaning processes.

  • Glycolic Acid 70%

Glycolic Acid 70% is used in water treatment applications for controlling pH and alkalinity levels in industrial water systems. It helps prevent scaling, corrosion, and microbial growth in cooling towers, boilers, and wastewater treatment plants. It effectively dissolves mineral deposits, rust stains, and hard water scale from surfaces, equipment, and pipelines.

  • Sodium Gluconate

Sodium Gluconate acts as a chelating agent, effectively binding and sequestering metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, and iron, preventing their undesirable effects like scaling and precipitation. Sodium gluconate helps to maintain the efficiency of water treatment systems by inhibiting the formation of scale and reducing the risk of corrosion in pipes and equipment. It is commonly used in cooling water systems, boilers, and reverse osmosis membranes.
